    Not a problem until after a few treatments. Then, nausea for sure. Some pain/ uncomfortableness.

    Great surgeon, but esophagectomy has it's long term effects. Had splenectomy, " bottomed out" on the table a few times. Anesthetic sensitive. Bled a lot. Many drains, and feeding tube past of course.

    Chemo was hard on me. But, not complaining..I am here! Nausea, vomiting, metallic taste, freezing crimped up hands, headache, generally feeling bad.

    Confusion, constipation, chemo brain, depression, anxiety, diarrhea, eating problems, nerve damage, shortness of breath,memory changes, hair and kin changes, taste change, thinking problems, insomnia, feeding tube instability,

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

    Had two chemo agents. One 24 hours by pump daily, another every two weeks. Pain, nausea. Had chemo and radiation at same time. Started with stage three. Had five and one half weeks of chemo and radiation.

    Nine hour surgery went well,...long rehab I think. Pain, nausea, getting used to small meals frequently..cuz if one eats too much one vomits! Stomach full? And doesn't expand, chest does! Getting used to lots of medications...rely on pain meds...

    Side Effects

    Chemo brain, nausea, loss of appetite, constipation, diarrhea, metallic taste, neuropathy and surgical pain, degenerative disc disease pain, anemia, shortness of breath, insomnia, freezing hands and feet, swollen feet, hand cramping, pain
