    My mind/Sense of Humor

    Loss

In February 2013, I found a lump in my right breast. I was referred to for a Ultra Sound and Mammogram. After having 5 children, many Xrays and Ultra Sounds over the years I had never met a Radiologist, so after my mammogram and the Radiologist walked in and introduced himself I knew this was not a meet and greet, but a day that I was never to forget. I had to go back to my GP the same day and be told that I had breast I felt as though I was losing my mind.

    Procedure or Surgery

2 days post surgery experienced severe pain, prescribed Tramadol. For 3 weeks continued to take Tramadol for the pain developed an addiction to Tramadol. Drain remained in place for four weeks, and developed sores under dressing as they weren't changed for 3/52 post operative care unsatisfactory. I had a hematoma a side effect from the surgery, which became infected.

    Returning to Australia for work

    Decision Point

My sick and annual leave had run out, needed to return to work, so had to decide whether to come back to Australia, as needed to have therapy.
