Chemotherapy
Drug or Chemo Therapy
I was extremely lucky - no surgery other than a biopsy, no sickness, no radiation, 6 months of chemo and 3.5 years of scans, now just blood tests and so far I am cancer free.
Weight loss
Side Effects
Had chemo every 2 weeks for 6 months. Since my resistance was down, I was very careful to keep my suroundings as germ free as I could including my food. Didn't even have a cold throughout the treatment. I was very tired for about a week after chemo (probably because I was inactive - should have gotten more exercise). I did have very sensitive skin and itched a lot - was given meds to make that better.
