Oh No
After having trouble swallowing food I was diagnosed with esophagus cancer. I had a tumor in the lining of my esophagus where it entered the stomach.

I started my chemo sessions on December 31st 2007. I had six weeks of treatment once a week.

On April 7th 2008 I had surgery to remove the cancer. I had my esophagus and most of my stomach removed. The surgery was successful.

After the surgery I was tested with petscans and found out that I was cancer free. I was tested every six months and was tested clean for at least three years.
Cancer is back/Recurred

In November 2011 after 3-1/2 years of being in remission, my cancer returned. This time in my upper esophagus or throat. I am curreently undergoing more chemo treatments.
