    Finished treatment

    Celebration

Hoorah! On March 17th with the luck of the Irish (which we are), we made it through the last dose of this round of chem. This was a clinical trial with Folforinox. We stayed on track every 2 weeks as scheduled with no dose altering or schedule changing side effects. Not to be confused with no side effects as there were any and very difficult. Now a 2 month break until the pancreatic cancer vaccine trial. And off to vacation on May 2nd!

    CAT scan

    Decision Point

Some positive, some not soo much. Decision to continue 4 more round of Folfironox, then repeat CAT Scan. Searching for a clinical trial on the East Coast with a PARP-1 inhibitor and advanced PC

    Lost loved one

    Loss

To all on What's Next. On October 26, 2015, my best friend and husband of 34 years made he next step in his life's journey. Surrounded by his family he went home to heaven. We are sad, lost and yet ever so grateful for the many precious and few moments we shared together and individually with him. During the last 2.5 years since he was diagnosed with PC he woke with a smile ready to enjoy and embrace another day..even those chemo days as he felt the chemo would bring him more life. He stated he would be ready if God had other plans. His charge to all of you...smile, enjoy the small things like the smell of freshly ground coffee.....live and love today!
