Oh No
Diagnosed in August 2013. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with me for the longest time. At first they thought I was bitten by a tick and was having complications to a tick bite. I was hospitalized in June and then again in July until they finally did a bone marrow biopsy.
Dacogen
Drug or Chemo Therapy
I have the usual side effects like nausea and heartburn. My eyesight will get blurry after a few days into the treatment as well. The steroids give me a boost for the first few days and then by the weekend I drop. The week after treatment my skin hurts really bad. It is almost like it is bruised. It hurts to be touched or have anything touch your skin. It has thinned my hair considerably but it hasn't fallen out. I am now heading toward my third round of chemo treatment.
Bone Marrow Donor Found
Celebration
I just got the great news that they have found a bone marrow donor match!! I am so excited!
