I had cramps so Bad I'd double over in pain and would throw Up and a bunch of times bled so heavy I Seriously thought I was hemraging then Sept they were coming twice a month or lasting For two weeks and I went to the Gyno and they Did tests and ultra sounds and found ruptured Cysts and I had a d&c hysteroscopy and my Gyno Sent me to a oncologist

External radiation
Radiation
First week 3/6/12
Procedure or Surgery
The oncologist said that I was producing to Much estergin and I was on birthcontrol to fix The problem of bad periods the excess estrogen Was making to much lining in the uterus and That I needed to have some sort of hormone Therapy or a hysterectomy but that he strongly Suggested the hysterectomy so I decided that too. I have no childeren so that was sad but I also Would rather be alive and adopt. Had the hysterectomy They took out uterus and both ovaries The surgery Was done laperscopically and was supposed to Be outpatient. When they got in there yhey Found a tumor that had gone through half The uterine wall and was stage III they took that Out and did biopsy and said there was some Cancerous cells left and it was now stage 1b. I had to stay over night they said Causr I was In so much pain. I at that point didnt know I Had cancer. My family wanted to wait and tell Me when I wasn't so loopy. Sooo I found out (and It's funny now ) at 6am some intern wakes me up And pats me on the leg and says ok looks like We got rid of most of the cancer and I was like U mean PREcancer right and then he says no cancer And then I'm crying and still under morphine And he's like would u like to talk to the clergy All in a weird sympathetic tone that was so creepy And I was like no am I dieing. Wow what a way to Find out cause It was so early and I didn't wanna wake Any of my friends or family I just cried My nurse Wanted to kick his butt
Procedure or Surgery
Total hysterectomy
Radiation
Because of the cancer I had in the uterus and Since the uterus and bowels and bladder Are close to each other I had awful side Effects. I had diahrea for like three weeks straight And was really tired and didn't want to eat Lomotil worked a little but not well enough
Radiation
The external beam radiation was awful I Didn't get burnt but I was really sick for A few weeks. I had 25 treatments One a day mon thru fri for five weeks Then two week break to get the side effects Under control before I started the internal Brachiotherapy (I can't spell lol) radiation I need three treatment. I have my third Tom It was awkward at first I mean I used to Be so shy and modest about my body and After so many exams it's easier but still Awkward to say the least. What they do is Put this rod or wand tube looking thinOg up The vagina so it touches the cervix and then Tie it to my legs and then this wire goes Thru the tube up to the top and puts a peice Of radiation to the cervix. U can't feel that It's just pressure it's awkward and Uncomfortable but not painful and I lay there For like 8 min and they take it out
