    Diagnosed

    Oh No

I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM MY GYNOCOLOGIST IN LATE JANUARY AND HE SAID, "AREN'T YOU USING BIRTH CONTROL..DIDN'T I TIE YOUR TUBES 5 YEARS AGO WHEN YOU DAUGHTER WAS BORN....YOU NEED TO COME IN TODAY BECAUSE YOUR PREGNANCY TEST CAME BACK POSITIVE. I HAD AN EMERGENCY D&C AND A DAY LATER MY HCG LEVEL WAS STILL RISING. HE IMMEDIATELY SENT ME TO SLOAN KETTERING CANCER HOSPITAL IN NEW YORK WHERE I FOUND OUT I HAD "GESTATIONAL TROPHOBLASTIC NEOPLASM"...A CELL FROM CONCEPTION OF MY DAUGHTER FLICKED OFF THE FETUS AND CIRCULATED IN MY BODY FOR 5 YEARS UNTIL IT DECIDED TO TURN ON AND BECOME AN INCH TUMOR IN MY LUNG.
