    Diagnosed

    Oh No

After many tests and annual mammograms, calcifications were found in my left breast. Ductal cell carcinoma. There is no history of cancer in my family. Lots of smokers with diabetes and high blood pressure. There is no real explanation.

    Hormone therapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I'm currently taking large doses of Vitamin D, then oncologist will decide on hormone therapy, possibly Tamoxifen. I've been taking Zoloft for a long time and added Welbutrin, but they may have to be changed depending on therapy.

    Lost loved one

    Loss

At the end of my radiation treatments I lost 2 life-long friends to cancer; one had leukemia, the other lung cancer. It took a devastating toll on me, but I'm doing better and keeping very positive.
