Cancer is back/Recurred
Oh No
Was diagnosed with hodgkins lyphoma in 2012. Completed chemo successfully. Now another cancer diagnosis...can't believe. So low mentally and so afraid. I've only know a surgeon is my next step. Is this normal? I don't know what to antipate.
Lumpectomy
Procedure or Surgery
I met with a breast surgeon and really liked her. She came highly recommended and is ranked as.one of the top surgeons in Houston. I have several other health issurs and based on those she really suggested a lumpectomy. She explained the success ratio for a mastectomy is 99% and for a lumpectomy 97%. Additionally I would not be a candidate for reconstructive surgery. Has anyone elected a lumpectomy vs a mastectomy and your results. Any info would be appreciated.
