Found out I have Breast Cancer

    Oh No

I'm in complete shock! Just found out on April 26, 2012 that I have Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. Will be visiting the surgeon on Monday but I'm completely terrified about hearing about the stage of cancer I have as well as if it has affected my lymphnodes or not. Can't stop crying :(

A week after original Lumpectomy had to undergo a second surgery to clear my margins.

    Decision Point

There was more cancer across the breast that was not caught on film. I'm not undergoing a mastectomy. This is my choice. Will move forward with complete treatment: Chemo, Radiation, Tamoxifen

    Celebration

Happy!!! Went to my 1st surgeon visit today and was told I'm at a Stage 1. This is better news than I expected. Off course, we always expect the worse. This is helping me remain positive although I know I still have a long road to recovery. Thank God!
