    Finished radiation treatments

    Celebration

Had my final radiation treatment yesterday. After going for treatments every day for so long it feels weird (but great) to have a weekday without any medical appointments. Also went to see and orthopedist yesterday and he gave me a cortisone shot for my arthritic knee. Feels much better. Hoping I can start exercising again. Today I start taking Arimidex. Hoping the joint pain that is common with that won't set me back again.

    Hormone therapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Have started Anastrozole (generic for Arimidex). No SE so far, but literature indicates they may not show up for 2-3 months after starting on the drug. I'm mostly concerned about joint/bone SE since I already have osteopenia and osteoarthritis in one knee. I also don't want to have to sit on my can for the next 5+ years because of joint/bone pain interfering with the ability to exercise.
