    april 2012 reocurance, of original cancer, need 31 radiation treatments with chemo. monday thru friday for 6 weeks,

    Colon surgery (colectomy or hemicolectomy)

    february of 2011 had 1st surgery removed 10 inches of my lower colon and anus reattached and received a temporary illiostomy.

    started chemo april 20,2011, folfox 5 was the chemotherapy combo. 6 months of treatments, 3 days of treatment everyother week.

    xeloda is the chemo drug, pill form 8 pill a day with radiation treatments. this round of chemo is for the reocurance of my orginal cancer.

    about 1 week after original surgery got an abscess infection,had to have surgery for placement of 2 drainage tubes. cleared up after 3 weeks.
