    february 2011 had first surgery to remove 10 inches of my lower colon and anus, reattached and got a temperary illiostomy. 4 out of 20 lympnodes tested positive.will need chemo.

    about 1 week after original surgery got an abscess infection, needed surgery to place 2 drainage tubes. recovered and removed in 3 weeks.

    colonoscopy

    december 2011 had a colonoscopy to check for polyps, they perferated my colon and had to have emergency surgery and got a new temperary illiostimy.

    Pet CT Scan

    april 2012 had pet scan to clear me for reversal of my illiostomy, test resaults were not good, a new tumor in my lympnods it was a reocurance of my original cancer, some good news all so it did not spread to any organs. but will have to have aggressive radiation and chemo to make sure it does not spread. will have to have a permenant colostomy for life. they will reverse my illiostomy and fix a herneia.
