    Surgery

    Procedure or Surgery

I did not take the surgery seriously enough when deciding which hospital to go with, I was lulled / lulled myself into thinking I had a common sarcoma tumor, it turns out to be SEF which is very uncommon and potentially very aggressive cancer. I should have pursued 2nd/3rd opinions at the pre-resection phase, water under the bridge. Kisco Kid

    Radiation

I'm being treated with IMRT radiation therapy at Memorial Sloane Kettering (MSK) in NYC, so far so good!

    Problem with doctor

    Oh No

The oncological surgeon was not a good communicator, expectations and collateral issues were not explained, the hospital was/is disoganized...i moved on after a 2nd opinion for my therapy phase. Kisco Kid
