    Lumpectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

The lumpectomy went pretty well. I had it on Friday, June 1 and it's Monday now. it's a little sore but the Sentinal Node biopsy area is a bit more sore. Wearing a bra is out but I am wearing a camisole which is OK. Wish I had a cotton one though. I've been taking percocet but am trying to get off it as it along with the anesthesia stuff hasn't helped my intestines. Now I a waiting for the biopsy results so that I can get an idea on what my treatment will be.

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I had my first Chemo Tuesday and am feeling surprisingly OK - kind of slow, dry mouth, a little nausea but not too bad - the meds really did help. Still worried about the Neupratin shot... but maybe that won't be bad either.... thank God I am doing as well as I am.
