    Oh No

My mom was just diagnosed with brain cancer about 2 weeks ago. She had a seizure about a month ago and was sent by ambulance to near hospital. I am one of her daughters and my other sister is very involved. My mom also got married in January. This last month has been overwhelming and she went from a very active mother and grandmother to learning how to walk again. The tumor is on the left side of the brain near her motorskills. The neurosurgeon removed most of the tumor but not all of it. We thought it would be okay but she is either stage 3 or 4. Statistically it is very scary where most patient make it 1-3 years. She will be starting treatment in about two weeks.

    External radiation

My mom is going to a doctor which specializes in Proton radiation therapy. I was wondering if anyone else has used this type of therapy and any opinons in it.
