    mastectomy and male chest reconstruction

    Celebration

This was the silver lining of my BC diagnosis. I am an FTM transman, so having my breasts surgically removed and having pecs formed was actually a plus for me.

    Other Care

Two weeks after my mastectomy, my morbid depression returned in full force. I suppose that just a moderate amount of the depression was actually related to the BC, as I was horribly depressed before diagnosis.
