    Lost loved one

    Loss

Eight months after my diagnoses of CA my hubby was diagnosed with lung CA and passed away 9 months later. A huge loss after 25 yrs. of marriage. My cancer and then his cancer. It was almost more than I could handle. It took me a year to even begin to function afterwards and I lost 85 pounds during that year. I have survived and am now much more healthier than before. I still miss him terribly 10 yrs. later.

    Side Effects

After finishing radiation and getting on meds I have now developed bilateral peripheral neuropathy in both feet and legs. Lots of pain, burning, tingling constantly.

    To move on.

    Decision Point

It took several years after the death of my hubby from cancer to decide that God left me here for a reason. I am now involved in several groups to do with veterans as my hubby was a Marine during World War II. I also try to convince women to get their mammograms since that is how my breast cancer was found. If they need someone to make the appointment or take them, I will do that too.

    Celebration

I was very happy when radiation was over. Got to "ring the bell". Was given a certificate by the hospital.
