    Work problems

    Oh No

Aside from having no health insurance, my employer was getting very annoyed with the constant chronic infections and I began to feel as if my job were on the line. So I managed with antibiotics for months the best I could until I got too sick to handle any more. Even then, after the doctors took me off work for a while trying to treat the recurring bouts of pneumonia, etc., things at work only got worse.

    Video assisted thoracic surgery

    Procedure or Surgery

After finally getting the ok from my insurance to run a CT scan, a bronchoscopy was ordered. Less than 48 hours later I was in the ER with a raging pneumonia infection and being told that I have stage 4 Adenocarcinoma of the lung with metastasis to the lymph nodes and brain, inoperable, terminal.
