    Oh No

After my surgery (lumpectomy with 7 lymph nodes removed), the pathology came back as a triple negative. Reading online I found that there is only a 5-year survival rate with this diagnosis. The surgeon removed all the known cancer tumor with a 3 mm clear margin; there was no cancer detected in the 7 nodes; however, I received the triple negative diagnosis yesterday when I went in for the surgical followup. I haven't share this with my family yet. I have radiation and chemo appts setup for now to learn more.
