Laparoscopic radical prostatectomy
Procedure or Surgery
Had DaVinci surgery on April18, 2016. Ductal cancer in prostate and lymph nodes. They did not get all of the cancer. Seeing radiologist and oncologist this week.
Cancer has spread/Metastasized
Oh No
Did everything right to no avail. Had digital exams for almost 20 years and PSA testing for ten. All was fine until last December. Have rare form of prostate cancer that forms in the ducts. Does not raise your PSA. Usually very advanced befor it is found. Stage 4, Gleason 8, T3aN1.
Incontinence (cannot control urine)
Side Effects
About three weeks post surgery and leaking about 300 grams a day. (Have to weight it for a study the surgeon is doing.)
