Diagnosed
Oh No
I was just diagnosed with a tumor in my windpipe, which explains why I was having more trouble breathing lately (3 months). My asthma doctor and PCP both thought it was just a worsening of my asthma and COPD but did refer me to a pulmonologist who found the cancer. Yes, I'm a former smoker (quit 4 years ago). I'm also a breast cancer survivor (21 years ago.) I'm looking for people like me who are sort of in a state of shock and not looking forward to the treatment. I want to share tips for coping and be reassured that I am not alone.
