    Cancer is back/Recurred

    Oh No

My original diagnosis was June, 2008. I had surgery to remove fallopian tubes and ovaries and the tumor which measured 16 cm. Six months later it returned with three smaller tumors. This time I had surgery, 6 eounds of chemo, and radiation therapy.

    Remission

    Celebration

I have been in remission for 9 years now. I only have to see my gyn/onc once a year. I am very thankful for that.

    Diarrhea

    Side Effects

The side effects of radiation were much worse than I thought it would be. I was so sick that for 8 weeks I could not go to church or do much of anything else. I am thankful that my son was living with me at the time and he took care of all household duties including cooking, laundry, etc.
