    Went BETTER than expected. Took one pain pill, then no need. Went out to lunch with sisters a couple of days after surgery.

    Slept all day and all night for what seemed like months. Got sick daily/hourly. Lost appetite completely, so became dehydrated.

    Refused sixth (final) chemo. Oncologist okay with that.

    Luckily, recent PET/CT scan showed virtually no evidence of cancer.
