Radiation
Dad had radiation to the brain tumor and walked out inh less than an hour! its amazing what they have learned to do . it used to be just a death sentance but now they have treatments we wouldnt have dreamed of!
Procedure or Surgery
2 chemo embolizations to the liver tumor. went much better than even the doctor expected, and we've killed off 2 cm of a 10 cm tumor:)
Drug or Chemo Therapy
Dad had 6 months of various chemo drugs, it took a full day on iv, sitting in the hospital . He experienced awful side effects, the worst of them is that he can no longer walk safely. neuropathy in both legs. if you are on chamo and you start to get numbness, see your doctor immediately, you might need to change drugs!
