    Just Diagnosed

    Oh No

Hospitalized for low hemoglobin. Received two units of blood. Doctors did upper GI scope and colonoscopy. Found 5-7cm mass in my right colon. CT scan came back clear. Surgery is scheduled for May 23.

    DNA testing - normal

    Celebration

Tested negative for Lynch syndrome, and they also believe that I do not have FAP.

    Colon surgery (colectomy or hemicolectomy)

    Procedure or Surgery

I'm still healing, it's only been 3 weeks. Pain was difficult to manage but is much better now. Thankfully I've been healing well.
