    Chemo brain

    Side Effects

For the week after infusion, was in a brain fog. Had to write everything down, if I was coherent to do so. I felt unstable to drive.

    Results of second opinion

    Decision Point

I went to the same clinic (insurance covered) for my second opinion. I got the same answer, I'm thinking it's influenced by the first diagnosis. It looks like there's only one option, Opdivo. My insurance approved it for one year. My daughter doesn't support this and it stresses me more when she calls. It's not easy to be in my shoes, she doesn't understu.

    Cancer is shrinking

    Celebration

Today I had a CT scan and the tumor in my lymph node next to pancreas is now tiny! I didn't have Opdivo treatment. Will be reviewed in 6 weeks. I really feel good, too!

    Milestones

I went to my first water exercise class and went without a cap or wig . I have a very short buzz growing, coming in gray! I'm not gray yet! Never the less I conquered my fears and triumphed
