stem cell transplant
Procedure or Surgery
I had a text book perfect Stem Cell Transplant. It went much better than I anticipated. I would like to talk to others about the experience to help relieve some of their anxiety.
Chemotherapy
Drug or Chemo Therapy
I was given Velcade as treatment and told that the side effects would be minimal. They were not. I was sick 5 days out of 7. I was also given Dexamethasone and told that I would be sick and gain weight. I did not. I’d like to share and remind others thT everybody is different. There is no one size fits all.
