    Just Diagnosed

    Oh No

Diagnosis completely out of the blue. No outward symptoms. Mammogram showed "questionable" spot which turned out positive for cancer. Yikes!

This is like nothing I have ever experienced. I am in total shock. How am I going to proceed?

    Decision Point

Surgeon, oncologist and nurse navigator helped guide me through decision making.

    Chronic fatigue and PTSD

    Side Effects

Healthcare professionals lag behind in recognizing PTSD as a common side effect of cancer diagnosis and treatment, IMO.
