    Diagnosed

    Oh No

I have had cancer before of three varieties (salivary gland/throat, skin, and uterine) and being diagnosed due to the mass on my shin was an eye opening horror unlike any other. I began feeling as though I was destined to live with/die from cancer.

    Cancer has spread/Metastasized

    Oh No

I was still getting worse, and due to being born with an IGA and IGG immune deficiency I was unable to have another round for at least 6 months.

    Decision Point

Cancer Treatmen Centers of America offered me a new program of care... but I had to travel out of state to do so and my Medicare/Medicaid wouldn't cover the cost, additionally because of the state of my immune system the treatment there had to be outpatient making the cost skyrocket due to food/lodging needs.

    Decision Point

I need more care but cannot afford another trip out of state, I have a lot of decisions to make as to quality of life, type of care available and chances of relapse even if I do go into remission.
