    Diagnosed

    Oh No

I felt there was a problem and went to my OBG/YN and she sent me for tests. Diagnostic Ultrasound, which led to a Core Biopsy, MRI, Node Biopsy. All for preop info.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I opted for 6 rounds of TAC protocol once every 3 weeks. Longer time for recovery between doses. I worked full time and took off Thursdays for Chemo every third week. Mondays usually I didn't last all day but it got better everyday. I only had to take off one unplanned day off after the last round of chemo...that Monday after I was still just to out of it to drive. Side effects, sleep, memory issues, taste issues, digestive problems. Took Neulasta.

    Minimal Side Effects: Neutral/NA
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Neutral/NA

    Internal radiation

    Radiation

Radiation was a routine..every weekday for 28 sessions. The most pronounced side effect was the yawning sleepiness, unlike chemo which was just blissful sleep (when I was awake I wasn't tired).

    Painless Experience: Agree
    Minimal Side Effects: Agree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Neutral/NA
