    Diagnosed

    Oh No

went for colonoscopy in Feb it was then DR found tumor @ 10cm in He admitted to hospital and performed emergency colotomy on me that day. Was taught how to take care of stoma (told how and shown once) sent home. Between me and my wonderful caregiver (my ex-wife) we figured out the right way to care for it. Started my chemo and radiation Mar 2012 finished it in may was then diagnosed as iron deficent took that treatment was then sent to a nerve dr for nurophy but my ex found out by reading all my blood reports that I was actually deficient in B12 taking those shots now.. Was set up for surgery to remove tumor but when surgeons seen how and where the tumor was located real close to my sacrum they both decided that I need a specialist to take care or this tumor so that is where I am

    Removal of rectal tumor

    Procedure or Surgery

did not have as to when they seen where is was they both decided that I would be better off with a specialist went to specialist and they did in fact remove tumor but then I was turned over to residents and did not get appropriate care was released to soon with surgery site infected Home health came in and did what they could . if it was not for my Angel here on earth I would have been in a real mess for she seen that my wound was dehisting and got me in to see my surgeon here and was put back in hospital that is in my home town he repaired my wound with a graft and I had to use a wound pump for about 2 months it is now almost 6 months after my surgery and wound is still healing my advice to you is to really check out what care and who will be in charge after your surgery
