Original diagnosis by needle biopsey was non small cell adenocarcinoma, stage 1A. Great prognosis. BUT; post Op lab report of tumor showed it was "mixed" and included small cell. Oh Oh! So, underwent "prophylactic" Chemo. Only upon completion was prophylactic full brain radiation recommended, which I declined.
