4 rounds of A/C over 8 weeks. Then 12 T over12 weeks. Lost my hair lashes and brows but I came through it ok. Worked a 40 hour work week and only missed 2 days. Tired a lot but other than that most other things tolerable.

    Breast Reconstruction (Flap)

    Procedure or Surgery

The TRAM flap surgery was done at the same time as the double mastectomy. In total the surgery was 13 hours. It is a tough surgery to recover from. You have to be ready to follow all directions feel discomfort for an extended period of time and be out of work for 6-8 weeks. I am going to be going back in a couple weeks and I still have difficulties sitting in a chair for a long period of time.

    Other Care

I have been going to physical therapy twice a week. The goal is to regain to function in the arm where the lymph nodes have been removed.
