    Cancer has spread/Metastasized

    Oh No

After surgery all 20 of the lymph nodes tested negative and it was determine that chemo was not recommended. However, three months later spots were found on my liver and after many tests and biopsies, there was strong possibility that it was metastasized colon cancer.

    Radiation

Radiation for me had few side effects - primarily just very tired. More difficult than chemo because it was every day, and every day for 6 weeks cancer was in my thoughts.....

I had surgery to remove a tumor from my abdomen. The tumor was contained but surgeon was unable to get clean margins so I also had interoperative radiation directly on the margins. Had surgery at Mass General Hospital in Boston. They are amazing! Went back to work 6 weeks after - was in hospital for 5 days.
