    Diagnosed

    Oh No

Diagnosed 122211, & told it was from the HPV (cervical cancer) back in 1996! Unbelievable!! I had my annual exams in a timely manner. Had a sigmoidoscopy in 2007 & was told I had hemorroids but nothing to be concerned about. When the biopsy, CT(which I had never had before & now I know I'm allergic to the dye) Colonoscopy,MRI, PET/CT were all said & done, Stage III anal canal cancer. :(

    Treatments worked!!

    Celebration

The treatments given to me worked. The biopsy & the PET/CT scan results after treatment were both negative. I have to visit the surgeon early next month to see if he still wants to perform surgery to verify the cancer is gone.
