    Double Mastectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

I was 52, very active outdoor person, with a lot of physical work before breast cancer and after breast cancer. Everything went extremely well. Doctors couldn't believe I was doing all that I wrote in my journal to each of them throughout my journey.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

As long as I took medications as directed I didn't have one sick day. However the neulasta shot I had to take the day after each treatment made me feel like I had the worst flu ever for about 48 hours, then the bone marrow (that the shot replenishes) released into my system and I was back to work on Monday. I was a little tired.

    Easy to Do: Strongly Agree
    Minimal Side Effects: Strongly Agree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Strongly Agree
