    External radiation

I have 4 more weeks to go. I'm getting pink and a little sore and I am using aloe for the burn 3 times a day. Is there something else I should be doing? The further I go into this, the burn will be getting much worse. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. :) I will be so happy when this is all over but I am very thankful they found it early. I was reading a lot of women had mastectomys with this kind of cancer. The doctor didn't even talk to me about that as an option. Did anyone out there have a lumpectomy and radiation for 6 weeks and if so, how are you? Thank-you for any feed back I can get. God bless you all! :)
