    Double Mastectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

    Bilateral mastectomy on 8/27/12. Recovering at home now with two drains. Pain = 0 when in bed. Pain = 4 when up walking.

    Double Mastectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

    Wound breakdown on right side - tissue expander okay. Suture line reopened, removed 50 ml of saline, resutured. No pain. Suture line looks much better.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

    Started Taxol on Dec 18 with a hypersensitivity reaction. Flushing, chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea, shaking chills. Taxol discontinued. Started Abraxane and Herceptin on Dec 26. No reaction. Some tingling in left fingers. No other side effects.
