Husband went to Dr with abdominal pain. Thought it was gallstones. Found spot on lung. Started doing one test after the other... Each with worse news. Diagnosed on 8/31 with Stage IV pancreatic cancer. Spread to liver, lungs and lymph nodes. Married 34 years, 2 children and 9 grandchildren... This was not part of our plans... Just getting to stage of our life where things were "starting" to settle. Thought we had a lot to look forward to...Real hard to swallow...

1st chemo. Went better than expected... really wasn't sure what to expect. (Oxylaplatin & CPT11). Came home w/5FU pump for 2 days.
