    Diagnosed

    Oh No

Diagnosed with IDC on 8/15/12, Stage 1, Grade 2 breast cancer. It could not be ruled out originally so I was not "too" surprised when they found it. Tumor was <1cm. My margins were clear which was amazing news. The negative news was that upon further testing they found what they call isolated tumor cells in my two sentinel lymphnodes. The whole lymphnodes weren't positive which is why it did not come up during testing while I was in surgery.

    Egg Freezing

    Procedure or Surgery

Due to my young age, I am choosing to freeze my eggs. The procedure only takes about 12 days in total which is comforting because then as soon as it is over I can start my treatment.
