Sentinel lymph node biopsy
Procedure or Surgery
Wound became infected but was not treated before chemo 1 week later. White Blood count dropped after chemo... 6 days in hospital had to have wound lanced and infection sucked out and now have to 'pack' the wound daily until it closes from inside.
Chemotherapy
Drug or Chemo Therapy
Other than the White Blood Cell count dropping to 0, 7 days after the chemo wasn't as bad as I feared.
Hair loss (alopecia)
Side Effects
This hit 2 days after I got out of the hospital... 1 week to the day from the 1st chemo treatment. should be all gone in the next 2-3 days. Scalp itches/hurts then hair just falls out if you touch it.
