    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I have had all of the drugs available for my colon cancer. Several more than once. I no longer have chemo when I have another "attack" from cancer. I'm now down to shaped beam radiation or surgery.

    Colon surgery (colectomy or hemicolectomy)

    Procedure or Surgery

I initially had surgery to remove my 14" of my colon and the cancer. Since then I have had shaped-beam radiosurgery twice to my liver and once to my lung and then surgery to remove a portion of my lung.

    Celebration

After 10 years and 5 bouts of cancer in various parts of my body it was a celebration to decide that it was a chronic disease. Sort of like being diabetic only I only have to deal with it every 2 years instead of daily.
