    Surgery

    Procedure or Surgery

Went in to remove large tumor found in abdomen but were unable to remove it because the tumor was larger and more complicated then they had predicted. Did biopsy and then closed me back up.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Doctors recommended an aggressive chemotherapy treatment to try and shrink the large tumor so that it would be easier to manage and more operable. Was given Adriamycian and Ifosfamide in the hospital for a week. Sent home and was to return in 2 weeks for another round. Was very difficult. Became dehydrated and had to be readmitted to the hospital after 1 week at home. On the second course of chemo, they were forced to stop treatment because I was having a reaction to the drugs, "Drug induced Nero Toxicity".

In 2008 also 2 years from last surgery spot was found on my liver. The doctors had prepared me for this so was not really surprised. Had survey at MD Anderson again, larger than expected had had 60% of my liver removed.

    Reaction to Iodine

    Oh No

I had been getting scans since 2006 with no trouble tolerating the Iodine. In 2011 I had a reaction to the Iodine during the scan and spotted breathing. Had to spend the night in the emergency room. Reaction was very XXX my already run down body. No more Iodine for me, ever.
