    Doctor discovered a rectovaginal fistula during exam today. Scheduled for a temporary colostomy, so I won't have "accidents" after radiation treatment. I'm trying to maintain a positive frame of mind...

    The procedure went very well. My doctors were very supportive - answered all my questions, and ensured that I had minimal anxiety. The ostomy nurses were incredible - informative and helpful.
