    Hysterectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

Surgery went from robotic procedure to full incision removal. Cancer was found during the surgery and I nearly bleed to death. My doctor did not know that it was cancer until the pathology report came back.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Going from never taking more than minimal medication to mega doses of benedryl, zantac and steriods along with the chemo was very difficult for me. But I became more adjusted to the treatment as things went along. I ended up in the emergency room one evening because the shot to boost my immune system gave me severe muscle spasms but I did not have to take that drug again!

    Finished treatment

    Celebration

I have finished treatment for now and am grateful. Knowing that the cancer will likely return is disheartening but I will face that when the time comes.
