My Mom was very active and at age 74 was diagnosed with breast cancer. She didn't tell anyone about it and it came to the surface of her breast skin and bled. It is a very sad story as to why she left this go and if anyone wants to know, I will be more than happy to share the story. Mom didn't die from breast cancer, but I feel the radiation weakened her heart and she died from heart problems and a broken hip. She was 80 and passed away in 2001. She had the best care available to her with oncology at Geisinger Medical Center.
