    Surgery

    Procedure or Surgery

The surgery was must longer than expected. My surgery took over twelve hours. The recovery was the hardise thing I have ever done. I developed excess water in my abdomen. Three liters worth, which was puting my heart in great danger. Then I coded. Thinking back, the side affects from all the pain med's that were prescribed made everything worse. My husband should me shaking like a leaf and swetting. He asked the nurse why was I in this condition. He told the nurse you can not just stop giving the pain med's that I had been taking for over a year and a half. I was additicced and having withdrawls. Now, it is better. My daily life has been impacted. I can not do the things that I could before. My energy level is low. But I do smile every day. Every morning is a good one.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I had Hep C. The chemo that I reseaved was the 'Pegasis' program. Pegasis program is a combination Interfeon injections and Rivobuten Pills(maybe mispelled). The pills was the worest. I would cry when my husband, my caregiver, would give me the pils. The intense feel of fire threw my arms and legs. It took about month and a half to get use too. The Interferon was my saving grace.

The phone from the hospital, "We have a Liver for you."

    Celebration

I got a phone call in the middle of the night from the hospital stating,"We have a liver for you and you need to get here!" A drive that takes 45 minute to get there took 20 minutes. By the time my husband parked the car, I was being wheeled to the operation room.

MRI says that IT is in my spinel cord, c4,c5,c6. IT has been eating my bones and compress my nerves. I want this out of me. Surgery 5-12-14 will give me a little longer to live. Oh, my uncle, Mister Daniel Prado passed away last week. He went to sleep and God called him. Depression is always at the front door.
