Chemotherapy
Drug or Chemo Therapy
The feeling of fatigue was overwhelming
External radiation
Radiation
Had radiation five days a week for 6-1/2 weeks and the burns were so bad, took weeks to heal
Mastectomy
Procedure or Surgery
Is still uncomfortable and have lymphedema from losing lymth nodes. Have chosen not to do reconstructive surgery, but do have some emotional issues due to losing left breast
Cancer is shrinking
Celebration
When diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer the tumor in my liver was over 9 cm. It shrunk enough, down to less than 3 cm that allowed me to have an ablation procedure using heat.
Lost loved one
Loss
I lost my son at the age of 31 to Melanoma five months before I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Chemo brain
Side Effects
There is such a thing as chemo brain. I also had issues with my eyesight during chemo. Losing my hair was devastating. It is now coming in very nicely and curly.. unfortunately, also coming in grey.
